We’d like to humbly thank everyone who supported our events, Throttle Thunder Relay and the Throttle Thunder Walk & Roll. It was a great weekend.
We’d also like to thank our volunteers! Without you…these events would not have been as successful. Thank you to all who collected pledges! Ken Stotts collected over $3,400 for our cause! Thank You Ken!
It’s time for the Re-Draw of the Grand Prize!! The prize is a $1,000 Travel Voucher!
All the names of the participants have been put in a jar and Paul at Denail Harley-Davidson will draw the winner at 5:30 Wednesday July 22. We will call the winner right after the drawing! Good Luck to everyone!!

Ok, here’s something else you have all been waiting for!! The gross revenue from the events is $43,000+!!! (we are
still getting pledges and donations in the mail, even now, so we hope to top $50,000!!!)
Forget Me Not Mission has made contributions to the three major school districts; Anchorage, Fairbanks and the Mat-Su, to assist their Safe and Drug Free Schools programs. All three districts have impressive and effective programs which are created and operated by the students! Their websites include powerful messages about the consequences of irresponsible behavior involving alcohol and drugs.

We support these programs because it fulfills our mission of raising public awareness.
Now we will finish ‘Soul Shaking Grief’ the Victim Memorial Book that will be distributed to waiting rooms across Alaska! These books will be free of charge to the public! We had planned to have these ready for distribution by Fall of 2009, but we’ve have some problems and delays with printers, so it now looks like they will be ready for the Spring of 2010. Sorry for the delay!
We’ll keep you updated from time to time, on any other ways we intend to spend the money we raised from the events. So check back once-in-a-while!
